Cheri Crause and Rick Hoogendoorn are real estate agents in Victoria, BC. They specialize in assisting seniors, and their families, through the process of downsizing. The Certified Professional Consultant on Aging designation (formerly the Certified Senior Advisor designation) means that we are aware of the unique financial, social and health issues which affect our older generations. It means we are capable of unravelling the problems associated with aging, and can provide real-life solutions for you ourselves, or put you in touch with people who can.
Seniors and their families face many different challenges. With an aging population, we need people with a keen understanding of the many and varied issues. This is especially the case when you are facing the difficult and emotional decisions related to downsizing.
Many people over 65 have at least one parent still living! Are you prepared to be a caregiver in retirement? Is your spouse? Are your adult children? Health challenges, blended family difficulties, financial choices, and quality of life issues can all benefit from a caring, objective advisor. We hope you'll let us be the advisors for you and your family.
Please call our office to make an appointment. There is no cost for our first meeting, and for those people who are unable to travel, we would be happy to come to you.
Cheri has been an instructor with the Canadian Academy of Senior Advisors, and is an active participant in the C.A.S.A. brain trust, helping to guide the organization to better serve professionals across Canada who help seniors and their families. She is a former Certified Financial Planner, with extensive knowledge in the areas of tax, estate planning, and investment real estate.
